Summer 2020 Programs in Light of COVID-19

May 1, 2020

It is with great sadness that we must announce the cancelation of all 2020 summer residential camps at San Juan Bible Camp (SJBC). The SJBC Board of Directors met the evening of April 30, 2020 to discuss possibilities for camp during this uncertain time. It has always been our policy to follow the guidelines and mandates of our government authorities, even during difficult situations such as this, in order to maintain excellent standards and protect the health of each individual. The camp board made their decision to cancel residential camps based on the current government mandates and the possibility of future mandates which may prohibit all onsite SJBC events through July 10, 2020.

This decision allows camp staff to fully shift our focus to providing a creative virtual camp experience in which we will offer fun camp skits and challenges, camp songs and an encouraging spiritual message for campers to view on a daily basis beginning in June. We are also planning some surprises along the way so stay tuned!

Registration for virtual camp is free and available to anyone wanting to access it on SanJuanBibleCamp.org. We plan to offer three streams of video content for grades K-5, grades 6-8 and grades 9-12. All registered campers will receive a camp kit which includes a “Victorious in Christ” t-shirt and other camp goodies. Since camp still has bills to pay and we will incur some cost in creating virtual content, we encourage and appreciate your donations! Please follow the PayPal instructions at SanJuanBibleCamp.org or send checks to:

If you already registered a camper prior to May 1, you will be contacted by phone or email from the camp office.

Our hope and prayer is that you are trusting in God for your physical and spiritual needs. Thank you for your prayers!
